I have been involved in corporate advisory work in sub-Saharan Africa for the past 14 years primarily in lead IPO execution roles having completed over 5 IPOs (in Sole Lead Manager Roles) and 5 privatisation transactions in Uganda, Malawi and Tanzania.
I have also consulted on capital markets development issues, feasibility studies, financial modelling and valuations in Swaziland, Lesotho, Mauritius and Botswana. I have been responsible for the transaction management, valuation and memoranda in a number of privatisations.
My current goal is to spread the word about the advantages of online communications and manage the communication obligations of a dedicated community of African directors / listed companies for the benefit of everyone participating in African capital markets.
I am currently IR / shareholder communications consultant for 11 listed companies and rolling out online solutions for a number of other companies in Africa.
